How does the CB-21 operate?
The CB-21 works by detecting the current draw on the sensed 3-pin socket and then activates the power on the second 3-pin socket suppling it with 240 volts.

How does the CB-26 operate?
The CB-26 works by sensing a voltage on the 2-pin connector and in turn activating the 3-pin and suppling it with 240 volts.

How does the CB-27 operate?
The CB-27 is switched on and off via an IR signal, providing an IR ON/OFF function to a component which does not have one, (required items, IN-8 for the IR codes and an IR Receiver to receive the code.

How does the CB-28 operate?
The CB-28 works by detecting the current draw on the sensing socket, which in turn switches a relay to activate the screen lift or when the projector is turned on the CB-28 senses this and activates the screen.

Can the CB-28 be switched manually?
DIAGRAM REQUIRED. Yes, with the addition of a single pole, single throw, latching switch. The wiring of this switch is from the V+ socket on the IR terminals (4-pin plug) through the switch to the 12V+ socket on the Trigger Input socket (2-pin plug).

How do I motor a screen and a projector lift with this product?
Two units are required to be run in parallel, (for wiring see How do I Parallel two CB-28's)

How do I parallel two CB-28's?
DIAGRAM REQUIRED. From the first unit (which would normally have the Projector connected) connect the Ground (GND) from the IR terminal block (4pin plug) to the Ground (GND) on the Trigger Input socket (2-pin plug. Connect the STATUS from the IR terminal block (4-pin plug) to the 12V+ (GND) on the Trigger Input socket (2-pin plug).

What is the best way to set the sensitivity?
CAUTION THIS TRIM POT IS DELICATE, DO NOT FORCE. Using a small plastic handled screwdriver rotate the trim pot clockwise to reduce the unit's sensitivity. Switch the trigger device and the CB-28 on and slowly increase the sensitivity until the CB-28 trips and the screen drops. At this point increase the sensitivity about an 8th of a turn to avoid any stutter from the screen, due to momentary power surges or drop outs and the unit is set.

The status light is green but nothing is happening?
If this is happening please check the installation and if everything seems to be correct it is recommended the unit be returned to Leisuretech Electronics for testing and if required, repair. Please note these are not user or field serviceable units.

What is the IRR-300 wiring colour code?
Red = V+, Green = GND, Blue = SIGNAL, White = STATUS

Back to Top

What is the IRR-500 wiring colour code?
From Left (Grey) to Right:
Grey = V+, Black = GND, Black = SIGNAL, Black = STATUS

Where do the IR codes come from?
The IR codes for the VS-40 are sent from an Andrew's Audio RC-6 which will allow you to select any of the sources 1-4. Select source 5 you will go to the next source. If source 6 is selected the unit will scroll through the 4 sources and on the AB-41RC source 1-4 are selectable.
