Painless Gym Install
Mark, of Sonic Vision in SA has put together a great design for a local gym via the UAT, a line level mixer and OutCast speakers. Mark indicated, “The gym wanted a portable wireless sound system to use between different training rooms such as spin and boxing class. The OutCast was the best viable solution. They even take it to schools and provide aerobic training sessions to students whilst the teacher instructs over the mics”. Basically you plug the iPod and cordless mic/s into the mixer. From the Line level OUT of the mixer to the line level IN of the UAT, you can wirelessly transmit up to two OutCast’s. Each microphones has their own volume level. “This system has allowed them to expand to outdoor ares and schools. It’s been such a fun custom install project, with minimal effort”, states Mark.
